Bronzino- Agnolo di Cosimo also know as Bronzino was born November 17, 1503, in Florence. He is best known as a Mannerist painter. Bronzino first received Medici patronage in 1539 and it was not long after that be became the official court painter of the Duke and his court. His portrait figures influenced the course of European court portraiture for a century. He died November 23, 1572 in Florence. Many of Bronzino's works are still in Florence but other examples can be found in the National Gallery, London, and elsewhere.
Tintoretto- Born 1518 and died May 31, 1594, he was an Italian painter and a notable exponent of the Renaissance school. His work is characterized by its muscular figures, dramatic gestures, and bold use of perspective in the Mannerist style, while maintaining color and light typical of the Venetian School.
